Tomato season is here! Perhaps it’s time to try a salsa recipe?
In this weeks share we have:
- 4 quarts of yellow peaches
- 1 quart of nectarines
- 1 quart of Red Free apples — a sweet summer variety, best when kept in the fridge
- 6 ears of corn
- 2 zucchini
- 5 lbs of tomatoes
- 2 or 3 heirloom tomatoes (featured here are 2 Black Prince and 1 Brandywine)
- 3 Bell peppers
- 2 sweet frying peppers
- 3 jalapenos
